What is the purpose of advertisement?
The purpose of advertisement is for product awareness, so the
project is out n the world trying to persuade the target audience to buy or
invest into the product. Also, with the advertisement it can fund the programs
in which it is showed during. For an example just eat sponsors x factor.
What is a “target market”?
The target market is who the advert/ product is made for, the
one who will be the most interested in it.
How does advertisement work?
Advertisement works by appealing to the target market, showing
things that make them remember it and be curios on if it is worth what they
pay.
Advertisement follows trends, big issues, values and they need
to be up to date with the world so lots of research is needed.
What is “reach”?
Reach is how many can it reach at once.
What is “frequency”?
Frequency is the number of times it gets advertised.
What short elements does an advertising agency spend its money
on?
All element of advertisement cost something, it is a big cost
on making ads. Some ads need to be played to a wider audience only a few times,
some ads are run repeatedly to the same small audience, both cost is different
ways.
How important is the USP?
USP stands for unique selling point. It is a marketing
statement that differentiates a product or brand from its competitors.
Why might an advertising campaign fail?
The advertising industry does have rules and regulations. They
make sure everything is all right before they make their ads. Quite often they
like to provoke a response.
